Consequences of PPP's
The consequences of renovating the Finger Wharf have brought positive consequences on to the suburb of Woolloomooloo. The renovation of the wharf has brought a luxury back to the suburb showing an example of Gentrification as middle class buyers come into Woolloomooloo’s real estate market. There is urban renewal that is a consequence of the Project eg. The Gunnery is now an Arts and Culture centre. There have been new apartments built while renewing old apartments by restoring their period features such as colour and decorations (balustrades, gates).
Restaurants in Woolloomooloo include the Flower and Stone, The Larder, Aki’s Indian.
Best Bars in Woolloomooloo are The East Sydney Hotel, The Blue Hotel, The Old Fitzroy Hotel, Riley Street Garage, and The Tilbury.
However, the security of the people's residences in Housing Commissions is at risk eg. Millers Point across the Sydney Harbour had its residence evicted to build Skyscrapers as it was prime harbour-front land.
